It’s never easy to say that final goodbye. So often, amidst the grief, we find ourselves in the unknown world of organising a funeral. We want to say and do the right thing but often our minds go blank and yet, long after the final farewell attended by family and friends, we recall all the things we might have wished to say or do.
Allow me to prompt you, to help, guide and support you through this difficult time. A funeral can be whatever you want it to be and needn’t conform to any set rules. Let’s make it personal, heartfelt, special and unique. You might not be aware of all the things you can do which is why I will make suggestions and work with you. If you wish for some religious content, that is fine by me too.
The story of one’s life (eulogy) can often be enriched if it is written by a third party (me). After spending time with you, speaking with family and perhaps others if you wish, I can create a fitting tribute, and after your approval, read it within the service. I guarantee that after we speak about your family member or friend, they will be reflected and be remembered in the loveliest way. Let’s remember the happiest moments of their lives, the good times shared, what made them so special and perhaps if needed, pausing to remember the times when life challenged them. If helpful, I can find poems, readings, prayers and music that you will know in your heart are just perfect for them.
Your service or memorial might be in a crematorium, a church, even in a pub, field or your own home. I shall help you to make it special wherever it may be.
I am very grateful to all the families who have taken time to send such lovely words of thanks after their service.
